Obituary	Philip T. Additon, 82, died Monday in a Pittsfield nursing home after along illness. He was born in Ripley, Oct. 10, 1885, the son of Herbert and Carrie (Field) Additon. Additon worked as a farmer and for many years was field manager for the former George H. Hall and Son Co. of Dexter and the Baxter Canning Co. of Hartland. He served as Ripley town clerk for several years and was a member of Ripley Grange and the Dexter Masonic Lodge. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard Ramsay of Dexter one grandson, Philip Ramsay, also of Dexter; one niece and several cousins. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Ripley Methodist Church with the Rev .Gordon Parlin officiating. Spring burial will be in Ferndale Cemetery.
