Obituary	Herbert S. Lane, 84, died Sunday at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born in Ripley, Aug. 10, 1882, the son of Sumner and Rossa (Welch) Lane. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sadie Giggey and two nephews, Harold and Jasper Austin, all of Dover-Foxcroft;; several grand nieces and grandnephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Lary Funeral in Dover-Foxcroft with the Rev.Raymond Wixon pastor of the United Baptist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in the Lee Cemetery.
