Obituary	Autense Skillings, 81, died December 19, 1987, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born December 20, 1905 in Bradford, the daughter of Eugene and Nellie (Chadbourne) Spencer. She served as town clerk in Ripley for 25 years retiring in 1981. She was a past member of the Ripley Grange. She is survived by her husband, Jesse; one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Hall, both of Ripley; one brother , Archie Spencer of Sangerville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with Pastor Helen Zigmund of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends called Monday at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley
