Obituary	Cecil Roscoe Bane, 68, died unexpectedly at his Ripley residence January 18, 1987. He was born in Ripley, May 26, 1918, the son of Hiram and Maude (Felker) Bane. He attended Ripley schools. For two years he was a constable for the town of Ripley, He was a former member of the Evening Star 18 100F of Harmony. In 1983, he retired from the Dexter Shoe Company. He is survived by his ex-wife, Mae Howle of Ripley; tow sons, William of Ripley and Bruce of Brewer one daughter, Donna Bowling of Columbia S.C.; one brother, Linwood of Pittsfield; one sister, Eleanor of Bingham; one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crosby Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, with the Rev. Robert Leon officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9p.m. Wednesday. Spring interment will be in West Ripley Cemetery.
