Obituary	John Litchfield, 65, died December 31, 1986 at his Ripley residence. He was born April 24, 1921, the son of John R. and Bessie H. (Mills) Litchfield. He was employed for many years as a stock clerk at Fay Scott Machine Shop. He served in the Army during World War 11 and was a member of the Poulliot Seavey Legion and the Shirley Carter VFW Post, both of Dexter. He was a member of the Plymouth Lodge of Masons and the St. John Chapter. He is survived by one half brother, John Murdock of Dexter;; one niece, nephews and several cousins, Funeral services were Saturday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter with pastor Robert Leon of the United Methodist Church officiating. Friends called at the funeral home Friday, during which tie Masonic services were held. Burial will be in the spring at the Forest Grove Cemetery, Augusta
