Obituary	Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, October 12, for Harold H. Smith, 73, who died Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Tewksbury at Ripley where he made his home, The Rev. Gordon F .Parlin of the Ripley and Dexter Methodist Churches officiated at the Crosby Funeral Home. Interment was in Grove Cemetery, Belfast. He was born at Belfast, March 7, 1892, son of Herbert and Ann (Moulton) Smith. Prior to coming to Ripley a few years ago, he had spent all of his life at Belfast. He was employed by the Maine Central Railroad for 46 years. Survivors are his widow, Verner Smith of Ripley; two sons, Henry of Belfast and Warren of Rockland; a step-son Carl Goodwin of Belfast; a daughter, Mrs. Tewksbury; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild,
