Obituary	BERTHA M.HASELTINE Mrs. Bertha Marie Haseltine, 81, died last Wednesday at the Plummer Hospital following a short illness. She is the wife of Fred Haseltine. She was a lifetime resident here, where she was born May 26, 1882, daughter of William and Florence ( Additon) Hoyt. She was the oldest member of the Ripley Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Aid, a 50-year member of Ripley Grange, founder and charter member of the Ripley Christmas Carol Club. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, John of Napa, Calif., Linwood of Ripley; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Dore of Bangor, Mrs. Vera Wenthworth of Southington, Conn., Mrs. Aletha Hemenway and Mrs. Nellie Brasier, both of Ripley; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held on Sunday, at the Ripley Methodist Church, the Rev. Gordon Parlin, pastor officiating. Committal Services were held at Ferndale Cemetery Ripley. Bearers were: Harry Dore, Clyde Hemenway, Harold Wentworth and Kenneth Brasier.
