Obituary	DEXTER - Susan E. Phillips, 60, passed away January 5, 2016, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born November 20, 1955 in Danvers, MA, the daughter of William and Joan Stanley. She enjoyed vacations at the beach and spending time with her grandkids. She was a devoted mother, loving wife, and a special grandmother. Sue was a wonderful nurse and worked in numerous areas for over thirty years. She touched many people and was loved by many people. Her favorite Bible verse was I Corinthians 4-7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Sue is survived by her husband, Stephen Phillips; sons, Isaiah Phillips, and John Phillips; daughter, Tammy Phillips; son, Stephen Phillips and wife, Danielle Phillips; along with grandkids, Dylan, Jenna, and Allie Phillips; son, George and wife, Kimberly Phillips and grandkids, Phoebe and Asa Phillips; sisters, Kim Chafe and husband, Gordon Chafe, Lisa Moores and husband, Jeff; sister, Debra Stanley; brother, William Stanley; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dexter on January 16, 2016 at 3 PM, with refreshments after the service.
