Obituary
DEXTER - Connie Crosby, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home. She was born March 19, 1934 in Cambridge, a daughter of Stanwood and N. Arline (Folsom) Ham. After moving to Dexter at age 4, she graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1952, and Husson College with an executive secretarial associates; degree in 1954. She was employed as secretary to Elwin Crosby at both the Western Auto Stores and at Crosby Funeral Homes. Connie married Elwins son Alton on July 1, 1957, and continued working at the various family businesses until her retirement. She was a past member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, serving a number of years as church treasurer, and as a Sunday school teacher. She was also a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She was a member of the Dexter Womens Literary Club and the Gideons Auxiliary. Alton and Connie enjoyed 22 years at Avon Park, Florida. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter at the time of her death. In addition to her husband of Dexter, she is survived by 2 sons, Michael and wife Terri of Newport, and Jonathan of Dexter; 2 daughters, Karen and husband Kyle Frewin of Benson, AZ, and Julie and husband Gary Perkins of Exeter; a brother, Richard and wife Pauline Ham of Dexter; a sister, Linda and husband Theodore "Ted" Davis of Bethel; a sister in law, Corinne and husband A. Maurice Neal of Dexter; 6 grandchildren, Joshua and wife Mary Frewin, Chelsea Frewin, Chandler and Logan Perkins, Madelynn and Arianna Crosby; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. Saturday, August 15th at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter with Pas¬tor Stan Griffin officiating. Burial will follow a brief gathering at the church at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
