She was the oldest member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Dexter, where she was a member for over 60 years. She was a member of the Ripley Extension, and also had a weekly craft class that she enjoyed very much. She was respected and loved by everyone that she came in contact with, and will be sadly missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Gardiner; 6 brothers, Elwin, Earle, Horace, Edward, Kenneth, and Lewis; and 3 sisters, Ruth Berghman, Marguerite Hamilton, and Opal Sinclair; and a daughter-in-law, Diane Gardiner.
