Obituary
Masonic funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Crosby funeral home for Bernard O. Tyler, 55, who died suddenly at his home in Ripley Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Wheeler, pastor of the Free Baptist Church, officiated. The body was taken by train to Holliston, Mass. for interment. Brother Masons were bearers. Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 18, 1893, in Cambridge, Mass. the son of Waldo H. and Alice (Rice) Tyler. About seven years ago he moved to the George Knowles farm on the Cambridge, Me. road and had been employed at the Fayscott Corporation. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post, American Legion: Plymouth Lodge No, 65, I.O.O.F. Penobscot Lodge No. 39, A.F. and A.M. and a past high priest of St. Johns Royal Arch Chapter, all of Dexter. He was also a member of Mt. Moriah Council; an officer of De-Molay Commandery No. 10, both of Skowhegan, and a Shrine member. He is survived by his wife, Vera A. of Dexter; two sons, Robert E. and Arthur L.; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Clague, all of Wakefield, Mass.; and one brother, Kenneth Tyler, of Ware, Mass,
