HARRY J. CLUKEY Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Harry J. Clukey, 66, who died suddenly Monday at his home on Free street. The Rev. John J. Kenney of Dover-Foxcroft officiated. Remains were entombed to await burial in the spring at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were Albert Clukey of Sebec, Robert Atwater, Clarence Beverly, Arthur Ambrose, Vincent Dyer and Bernard Clukey, all of Dexter. He was born at Dexter September 16, 1889, son of Charles and Izella Bonneau Clukey. He spent his entire life here where he had been a mill worker and farmer. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post 53, American Legion; and a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church where he had sung in the choir for 40 years. The survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Pelletier and Miss Pauline Cloutier; a brother, Samuel, all of Dexter; several nieces and nephews.
