Obituary	Funeral services were held for H. Stanley Raymond of Ripley at the Methodist church at 2 oclock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Wendell Eggert officiating. The bearers were Chester Farrar, Ivan Farrar, Allard Packard and Wilbur Packard. Interment was in Fern Dale cemetery in Ripley. Mr. Raymond died at his home Sunday afternoon from gunshot wounds which were, presumably,, self-inflicted. He was born in St. Albans 45 years ago the son of Hiram and Sarah Parker Raymond, and had lived in Ripley for about 25 years. He was a painter and paper hanger by trade and was well known throughout this locality. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Charlotte Raymond; two sons, Donald and Nelson Raymond; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Haseltine; and two brothers, Allie Raymond of Ripley and Ernest Raymond of St. Albans.
