Obituary	The death of Mrs. Maria P. Skillings of Ripley occurred Wednesday evening, June 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Gould, in Ripley. She has been in failing health for several years. She was born in Eastbrook, 73 years ago, the daughter of the late Daniel and Nioma Seavey Piper. She is the widow of the late Edward E. Skillings. One brother survives, William Piper of Dexter. She was for many years a member of Ripley Grange and attended the Methodist church. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 oclock Standard time, from the Gould home , Rev. Roy C. Dalzell of the Dexter and Ripley Methodist churches officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Ripley.
