Obituary	RICHARD 0. EASLEY Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Richard 0. Easley, 78, who died suddenly Sunday afternoon at his home on the Garland road. The Rev. Howard Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. Remains were entombed and burial will take place this spring in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were: Harry Johnson, Vincent Ganeau, Guy Edgerly and Maurice Carr. He was born Aug. 3, 1877, at Medicine Lodge, Kan., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Easley. He and his wife, Cora M. (Hutchins) Easley, who survives, came here from Florida 57 years ago soon after their marriage. He had carried on a farm at the same site for 57 years. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Harold V. of Dexter and Ralph 0. of North Newport; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Randol of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Mrs. Mary Jackson of Bartlesville, Okla., 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
