Obituary	The community was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of one of its most respected citizens, W. H. Farrar, in Portland, where he has been spending his winters for the past few years but always returning to his home town for the summer months. Mr. Farrar was a an who affiliated himself with the affairs of the town in many ways, holding several town offices also having served one term in the State Legislature as a representative from this district. He was a valued and efficient member of the Grange and of the Methodist church. His presence and counsel will be sadly missed. The heartfelt sympathy of neighbors and friends are extended to the widow, Mrs. Callie Farrar, and the two children, Mrs. Grace Linscott of Portland and Reginald Farrar, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and the five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church Wednesday. Interment in the West Ripley cemetery.
