Obituary
One of the oldest residents of the town passed away Christmas Day, Mrs. Ann Woodcock, at the home of her son, Milton , where her last years have been made happy through the tender care of her son and tow grandchildren, Dorothy and John Woodcock. Another granddaughter, Mrs. Agnes Cook of Hartland will sadly miss the loved one. "Aunt Ann" as she was called was loved and respected by all who knew her. In her younger years she was considered a wonderful nurse, and acted as official stork bearer in a great many homes, answering the call day or night, winter or summer, always with the same cheery smile and words of encouragement. No better tribute could be paid than this, "She loved but to serve" Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29th
