Obituary	The many friends of Adelbert R. Jewett are sorry to learn of his death which occurred Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Guy Annis, of this town, where he has been ill for several weeks. Mr. Jewett was born in Ripley 57 years ago. For many years he was a resident of Dover-Foxcroft, coming to Dexter only a few years ago. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Guy Jewett, of Bath, three sisters, Mrs. Annis of this town; one son, Stanley Vesta Sherman of Damariscotta, Mrs. Robert Dunbar of Portland and Mrs. Etta Felker of Ripley, and by one brother, Edgar Jewett, of Wilton. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at the home of his daughter at 2 oclock standard time. Rev. H.H. Hayes, pastor of the Free Baptist church of this town, will officiate, Interment will be in the family lot at Dover-Foxcroft. The family has the deep sympathy of many friends both in Dexter and Dover-Foxcroft.
