Obituary	Mrs.Ellen Seavey, widow of the late Cotton Seavey, of Ripley, passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Winfield Roberts , on the Dover road. Mrs. Seavey suffered a slight shock a few years ago and had been in poor health every since, being confined to her bed nearly all the time since Christmas. She was 71 years of age and was born in Starks, living there until she was about eight years old when her parents., Mr. and Mrs. William Felker moved to state of Maryland where they lived for seven or eight years. On their return to Maine the Felkers lived in Ripley, where Mrs. Seavey was married to Cotton Seavey and where she lived most of her life thereafter. She is survived by a son, Harry W. Seavey, one daughter, Mrs. Winfield Roberts, of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Volney Bragg, of St. Albans and two brothers, Frank and Roscoe Felker, of Ripley. Funeral services where held at Ripley Grange hall this forenoon at 10 oclock , Rev. W. H. Dunham of the Methodist church officiating. The bearers were Alton Merrow, Hiram Bane, Earl Felker and Fred Haseltine. Burial will be in Ripley.
