Obituary	Daniel Wakefield passed away October 21 having failed in health for several months, at the age of 82. He was a veteran of the Civil War, being wounded in the service. Besides his wife who was Abigail Pratt, he leaves three sons, Frank, Lavern and John, all of this town and six daughters, Mrs. Clara Skillings and Mrs. Sophronia Cooler of this town, Mrs. Mary Packard, Mrs. Edna Chadbourne, and Mrs. Maud Card, all of Dexter, and Mrs. Elizabeth Bodge of Monson; one brother Hiram Wakefield; also several grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Grange hall, of which grange he was a member. Rev. F. Ernest Smith speaking words of comfort. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Other relatives from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Grant of Madison, Miles and Flossie Pratt of Winn, Mrs. Nora Hamilton of Waterville, Mrs. Isaiah Pratt, Mrs. Annie Harris and Mrs. Florence Clifton of Newport.
