Obituary	Mrs. Samantha (Rogers) Skillings, who passed away March l, had been steadily failing in health since her return from caring for her sister in Auburn several years ago. About a year ago she had a severe illness, and since that time, with the exception of a few weeks last summer spent with her sister, Mrs. Margaret Gould, in Charleston, has been confined to her home. Besides her brother, John Rogers, who has been with her all the time, she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gould, of Malden, Mass., Mrs. Roxie Southard of Centralia, Wash., and Mrs. Etta Laughton of Oakland, Calif. Funeral services were held from the home Friday afternoon, Rev.F. Ernest Smith officiating. She was a member of the Methodist church and Ripley grange.
