Obituary	MRS. FRANK PACKARD Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Packard, 87, widow of Frank A. Packard, who died suddenly Friday morning at her home on Zion's Hill. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. Bearers were: Horace and Hadley Hopkins, Adrian Robinson and Charles S. Brewster, all of Dexter. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. She was born in Ripley, March 4, 1868, the daughter of Daniel and Abbie Wakefield. She had been a resident of Dexter for nearly 50 years. For many years she was associated with the Congregational Church while it was active here. The survivors are: two sons, Allerd and Wilbur, both of Dexter; two brothers, Laverne and John Wakefield, both of Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. Lindel Chadbourne of Bath, Mrs. Maude Card of Dexter; one granddaughter, Helen Packard of Dexter; nieces and nephews.
