Obituary	The old friends and neighbors of Mrs. Margaret Briggs were pained to hear of her sudden death in Dexter, Sunday night at the home of her niece, Mrs. Harry Weymouth. Funeral services were held at the Grange hall Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear officiating. The interment was in the family lot in the cemetery at West Ripley. There were many beautiful floral tributes. She leaves two grandchildren Harold and Ruth Briggs of Dexter, three brothers Ed. and Seth Ramsdell of St. Albans, and John Ramsdell of St. Johns, N.B. Mrs. Briggs was born and lived in Ripley until a few years ago when she moved with her son, Frank Briggs, to Dexter. All her immediate family passed on before her. Her age was 76 years.
