Obituary	At the home of his sister, Mrs. C.E. Jones, in Ripley, on the 8th instant, died Albert Gilbert Laughton, son of the late Gilbert D. Laughton of Harmony. The funeral was held at Mainstream meeting house Sunday the llth, Rev. T. Ernest Ham officiating. Floral tributes came from far and near and were many and beautiful, among the pieces being a pillow, star and Gates Ajar The interment was at the Mainstream cemetery besides the grave of his father by the young mans request. The death of Alfred Laughton is particularly sad and adds one more victim to the list of the great white plague. A young man at the zenith of his powers and activities, with splendid promise of earthly success has been cut down to carry out the inexplicable scheme of omnipotence. Again has the bearded grain been spared and the flowers reaped. A young wife and infant daughter, mother and four sisters are left to more, while a wide circle of friends extend sincerest sympathy.
