Obituary	Services Held For Mrs. William Spencer Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Universalist Church for Mrs. Hazel Spencer, 63, wife of William R. Spencer. The Rev. J. Robert Bath officiated and interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were: Henry S. Larsen, Paul D. Barstow, Henry J. Atwood, Frederick J. Quigley and Dr. H. Lewis Taylor. Mrs. Spencer, a graduate of the local high school and a member of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, died Sunday at the Plummer Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for a few days. Born in Dexter, May 21, 1892, she was the daughter of George and Emily (Martin) Slater. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leroy Howland, Jr., of Cambridge, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Young, Dexter; two brothers, Rexford Slater, Dexter, and George Slater of Dover, N. H., one grandson, several nieces and nephews.
