Obituary	Mrs. Mehitable Carr of Ripley died at the home of her son-in-law, Albert Carr, in Sangerville, March 14th, aged 88 years. She was born in Vienna, Sept.3rd 1816. Her husband, J. Sullivan Carr, died 26 years ago. She had lived on the home farm over sixty years. She retained her mental faculties to the last, read the papers and conversed freely on the topics of the day and was well acquainted with the history of the town. She was the mother of nine children, four of who are living: Mrs. Emerline Goldthwait of Somerville, Mass.,Mrs. Francena House of Abbot, George Carr of Lawrence, Mass, Otis Carr of Port Townsend, Washington. She leaves also quite a number of grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. "Aunt Hitty," as she was familiarly called, will be greatly missed by a large circle of relatives and friends,
