Died in Ripley, Nov 8th at the residence of her son in law Harrison Warren, Esq. Mrs. Charlotte Seabury, aged 91yrs, 9mos and 27days. Mrs. Seabury was born in the town of New Gloucester and moved to the town of Parkman in the year 1817 with her father, the late Samuel Pingree, one of the first settlers of that town. Mr. Pingree was the agent of Dr. Samuel Parkman the original owner of the town and for whom the town was named. The subject of this notice as married June 22nd 1823 to Mr. Charles Seabury with whom she lived in Parkman until his death Oct 28th 1874. Mrs. Seabury was the mother of seven children. Only three survive her, Mr. Mosel Seabury and Mrs. A.K.P.Merrill of Parkman and Mrs. Harrison Warren of Ripley with whom she has passed the last years of her life. The funeral services were held at her late residence Sunday Nov. 11th where a large circle of relatives and friends met to pay their last respects to one dearly beloved, who had lived beyond her allotted years and gone down like a shock of grain fully ripe for the harvest.
