Obituary	Funeral services were held September 12 for Mrs. Mary Ellis, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear speaking words of comfort. She was born in Dexter 67 years ago, but has lived in North St. Albans and Ripley for many years. She has been in very poor health for some time, but was able to attend to her household duties until she suffered a severe shock two weeks before her death. Besides her husband, Charles Ellis, she leaves to mourn her death, two foster children, George Williams of Ripley and Mrs. Earl Gould of Pittsfield.
