Obituary	Charles Wakefield, who has been in poor health for a long time, passed away Sunday night aged 57 years. He married Miss Emma Arnold of Newton upper Fall, Mass., in early life who survives him, also three sons, Ralph of Dexter, Carl of Hartland and Guy of Ripley. he is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wakefield, three brothers and six sisters, Frank, Laverne and John Mrs. Herbert Skilling, Mrs. George Cooley, Miss Lizzie Wakefield, all of Ripley; Mrs. Frank Packard, Mrs. Winfield Card and Mrs. Lendall Chadbourne of Dexter. He has been for several years first selectman, was highly respected and leaves many friends, was born, and spent the most of his life in Ripley. Funeral services were held at the church Wednesday forenoon, conducted by Rev. F. Ernest Smith. The interment was in the family lot in Fern Dale cemetery.
