Obituary	George Hersom passed away Wednesday, December 25. He was confined to his bed about a week with influenza. He has been in poor health for many years, the result of his army life during the Civil war. He was born in St. Albans, but has resided in Ripley for over fifter years. he leaves a widow and three daughters, Mrs. Nora Hamilton of Fairfield, Mrs. Ethel Wing of Newport and Mrs. jennie Wilkins of St. Albans, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, Rev. F. Ernest Smith officiating. Interment was in the family lot in Fern Dale cemetery.
