Obituary
CONRAD OLSEN Funeral services were held at the crosby Funeral Home Monday afternoon for Conrad Olsen, 57, who died suddenly Saturday morning at Dexter. The Rev. A. Allan Brough of the First Baptist Church officiated and burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Andover, Vt., son of Pedar and Hannah Olsen and had been living on Church street in this town. Survivors are a brother, Carl M. Olsen of the Owlsboro road, two nieces and one nephew. Mr. Olsen, who has been employed as a weaver at the Amos Abbott Company for 27 years, was a veteran of World Wars 1 and 2; serving in the Burma, India Theatre in the latter. He was a member of Shirley B. Carter Post, V. F. W., and Poulliot-Seavey Post, A. L. Members of the Legion Auxiliary attending the service in a group were: Mrs. Donald Swan, president; Mrs. George Willard, Mrs. Millard Hatch, Mrs. Thomas Ambrose, Mrs. Phyllis Morrill, Mrs. Leon Pearl and Mrs. Roy York. Bearers were: George Abbott, Donald Champeon, Ralph Richards, Patrick Poulin, Melvin Clukey, Roland Atwater, Clatus Clukey and Louis Chabot.
