Obituary	Jonathan R. Grant passed away Oct. 6, after a brief illness, at the home of his nephew, James Boyton. Until within a few years he has resided in Dexter. Although he has been in poor health for a number of years, it was only a few days ago that his condition was considered serious. He was 65 years of age, and a veteran of the Civil War. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Hattie Grant and a granddaughter, Beatrice Grant.
