Obituary
Hiram Raymond passed away suddenly April 10, from heart failure. He had been very poorly all winter, and had been confined to the house for the past few weeks, but was beginning to get out again. He leaves a widow, ad three sons, Allie, Ernest and Stanley: also two brothers, John of Saugus, Mass. and David of Pittsfield, and three sisters, Mrs. Wm Johnson of North Dexter, Mrs. Jane Fagg of Hudson and Mrs. E.W. Farrar of this town. He was seventy-two years of age. He was a egular attendant at church, and a faithful member of Ripley grange, and will be greatly missed in the community. Funeral services were held at the Peoples Methodist church Sunday afternoon, Rev. H.A. Sherman officiating. Those present from out of town are John Raymond of Saugus, Mass.; David Raymond of Pittsfield; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Leach, Mrs. Blanche Stevens and Mr. and Mrs. Zenas Emery of St. Albans.
