Obituary	Mrs. Mary (Emerson) wife of Henry E. Marsh, passed away very suddenly Monday night, July 22, about 9:30. She had been in her usual health during the day and evening and got ready for bed but on lying down expired almost instantly. Her husband and son, Josiah, were with her. She suffered a shock five years ago this month from which she never fully recovered, not having regained the use of one arm and band. She leaves a sorrowing husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ella Raymond, of Ripley and three sons, Charles Marsh of Dexter. Velorus of Bath and Josiah now at home, to mourn the loss of a loved wife and mother. Her age was 65 years and 8 months. The bereaved family have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. This is the third family circle broken within a few months in this district. Funeral services were held Thursday forenoon at her late home. Rev. S. G. Spear spoke words of comfort to the sorrowing relatives and friends.
