Obituary	JOSEPH A. GILBERT A Requiem High Mass was celebrated this morning (Thurs.) at 9 a. m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Joseph A. Gilbert, 78, who died suddenly Monday evening at his Grove street home. The Reverend Lynch of Pittsfield officiated. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The husband of Emma (Clukey) Gilbert, he was born in Bangor Aug. 2, 1876, son of Thomas and Flora (Libby) Gilbert. He came to Dexter as a young man and married Emma Clukey, a local girl. He was employed as a weaver in the various woolen mills in this town until his retirement several years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Thomas, Anthony and Roland, all of Dexter; Cyril of Pittsfield; one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Dulac, Dexter; two brothers, Walter of Bangor and Clement of Dexter; 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
