Obituary	MRS. CORA I. NELSON Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, May 10, at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Cora I. Nelson, 82, who died Sunday morning, May 8, at the Cushman Convalescent Home after a long illness. She had been a patient there for nearly 11 months. The Rev. Allan Brough of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The widow of Gordon M. Nelson, she was born in Easton, June 24, 1872, the daughter of Daniel and Sophia (Vogler) Ross. Before coming to Dexter 35 years ago, she lived for many years in Westfield, where her husband operated a farm. Since the death of her husband a number of years ago, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Packard. Mrs. Nelson was a former member of St. Albans Grange and a member of the Free Baptist Church in Presque Isle. She is survived by a son, Burnes Nelson, of St. Albans; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Packard, of Dexter, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The obituary of Mrs. Cora Nelson was printed in the Gazette two weeks ago but through error appeared only in the Newport edition.
