Obituary	John I. Sevey passed away Sunday morning, after a long and painful illness. Age 75 years and 9 months. He was born and has always lived in Ripley, where he has many friends. He was the son of Jonathan and Mary Joel Fields Sevey. He leaves three sons, Augustus Sevey of Ripley, J.B. Sevey of Madison and Melvin Sevey of Corinna., one sister, Mrs. Sarah Dunlap of Ripley and one brother, Ansel Sevey of Madison. Funeral services were held at the Grange hall, Tuesday, Rev. S.G. Spear officiating. Interment in North St. Albans cemetery.
