Obituary	MRS. ALICE E. PACKARD Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Garland Baptist Church for Mrs. Alice E. Packard, 82, widow of Albert Packard, who died Sunday in a Bangor hospital. The Rev. Donald Macomber of the Free Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. Bearers were: Donald Colbatb, Dexter; Carl Pratt, Vernon Packard, Garland; Edmund Rowe, Dover-Foxcroft. Mrs. Packard was born in Charleston, October 22, 1872, the daughter of Franklin and Urania Libby Lawry. She was a Golden Sheaf member of Garland Grange, and had lived the greater part of her life in Garland until coming to Dexter in 1944. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Flora P. Ordway of Dexter; two grandchildren, Mrs. Dorothy Pearl and Albert Stafford, both of Dexter; two great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Lowry, Bangor; and one nephew. note: Lawry, Lowry (spelling)
