Obituary	Mrs. Laurel Thomas of Springfield; VT., were held at Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Friday afternoon, Aug. 22 with the Rev. Harold Wheeler of the Free Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Thomas, who was 66 years old died at her hom ein Springfield, Tuesday, Aug. 19, after several years of failing health. She was born in Shirley on January 21, 1881, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elden Mitchell. Moving to Dexter when she was 18, she lived there until ten years ago when she left for Vermont. She was a past noble grand of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge, a past president of th ePast Noble Grands Association, a past president of the Canton Auxiliary and a member of Wassookeag Chapter O.E.S., all in Dexter. Surviving besides her husband are a daugher, Mrs. Roy Bradeen, of Claremont, N.H.; a son, Bernard L., of Springfield, VT.; two sisters, Mrs. Trellie Dore, East Gardiner, Mass., and Miss Mildred Mitchell, R.N., of Brooklyn N.Y.; and a greanddaughter, Patricia Ann Bradeen. Funeral services were held Thursday at Davis funeral home, Springfield, V.T.
