Obituary	DEXTER AND BREWER - Pamela A. Thompson, 71, went home with her Lord and Savior April 13, 2014 in Brewer with her daughter at her side after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was born April 9, 1943 in Dexter, a daughter of Earl and Velma (Withee) Woodbury. A longtime resident of Dexter, Pam was employed for 29 years at Dexter Shoe Company while providing and caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, always putting other’s need before her own. Anyone who knew Pam knows that she was the kindest and sweetest person one could ever meet. Her unwavering faith in God shined through her beautiful smile, even in life’s most difficult times. She was predeceasedby her parents, and her husband of 41 years and love of her life, Kenneth Thompson. Pam is survived by her daughter, Beverly and husband Rob Porter of Brewer and their children and joys of her life, Bryce and Lauren; her son, Douglas Thompson of CA and his children, Noah and Claudia; 6 siblings, Betty Paradis, Vicky and husband Glenn Manning, Chris and wife Kathy Ladd, Mike and wife Deborah Woodbury, Earl and wife Roberta Woodbury, and Larry Woodbury; a special uncle Bill Woodbury; a sister-in-law, Elaine Woodbury; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 P.M. Friday, April 25th at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter with the Rev. Tim Curtis officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maine Lyme, P. 0.
