Obituary	GUY N. HURD Guy N. Hurd, 62, of Dexter, formerly of Wilton, died at a Skowhegan hospital Monday morning, where he had been patient 11 days. Mr. Hurd was born in Berwick, Aug. 15, 1908, the son of Homer and Grace Staples Hued. He was married Aug. 16, 1929 in Won to Mabel Jackson. For many years he was employed by the Won Woolen Mill, later he moved to New Hampshire, where he worked as a carpenter. For the last six years, they had made their home in Dexter. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Hurd of Dexter; a son, Howard of Concord, NH,; four daughters; Mrs. Madeline Roy of Suncook, N.H, Mrs. Eunice Fortin and Mrs. Gwen Hunt, both of Al- ton, 11., and Mrs. Gayle Miller of Solon; a sister, Mrs. Lois Thompson of Lewiston; two brothers, Roger of East Wilton and John of Brunswick. Funeral services were held at the Edwards Funeral Home, Wilton, on Wednesday.
