ELINOR JEANETTE (THOMPSON) VIGUE DEXTER- Elinor Jeannette (Thompson) Vigue, 82, died peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2012, at Hibbard’s Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born in Bangor, August 14, 1929, the daughter of Thurston and Avis (Arnold) Thompson. Shortly after graduating from Brewer High School in 1947, she married Roger Floyd Vigue from Dexter (February 21, 1948). For many years she worked as a CNA at Plummer Memorial Hospital and Dexter Nursing Home, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family and seeing her sons married and raise families of their own. Before becoming ill in her later years, she loved camping, snowmobiling, and watching birds feed in the many flower gardens and feeders lovingly placed around her home. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
