Obituary	Velma (Withee) Melvin DEXTER – Velma (Withee) Melvin, 87, died May 25, 2012 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born September 14, 1924, in Dexter, a daughter of Wallace and Emma (Eastman) Withee, Sr.She was a devoted member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Dexter for over 40 years. Velma retired after 30 years from Dexter Shoe Company.She is survived by 3 sons, Earl Woodbury, Jr. and wife Roberta of Burnham, Christopher and wife Kathy Ladd of England, Michael and wife Deborah Woodbury of Dexter; 3 daughters, Betty Paradis of Corinna, Pamela Thompson of Dexter, Victoria and wife Glen Manning of Etna; 1 brother, Wallace Withee, Jr. of Bangor; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.Graveside committal services will be held 10 A.M. Thursday, May 31st, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Pastor Robert DeLeon officiating.Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
