MRS. HAROLD D. SMALL Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Frances M. Small, 64, wife of one of Dexter's long established businessmen, Harold D. Small. The Rev. J. Robert Bath of the First Universalist Church officiated. Bearers were: Reynold Thompson, Millard Otto, I. Ralph Leighton and Albert Ziegra. The remains were entombed and burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant cemetery this spring. Mrs. Small, who died Monday at the Plummer Hospital after a period of failing health, was born in Somerville, Mass., Feb. 1, 1890, the daughter of the late John and Marie McDonald Moran. The Smalls were married in 1911, and in the fall of 1912 they came to Dexter, where she has made her home since. She was a past worthy matron of Wassookeag Chapter 44, OES, a former member of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club and a member of the First Universalist Church and the Ladies' Aid. Other than her husband, Harold, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clair Wilkins of Dexter and Mrs. Evelyn Korbly of Boston; one grandson, Hal Wilkins, Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Bond, Topsfield, Mass., Mrs. Andrew Daniels, Cambridge, Mass., two brothers, John J. Moran of Wollaston, Mass., and Frank Moran of New York City, many nieces and nephews.
