He was a good man who loved his family and worked hard his entire life to ensure that they had the best life possible. Llewellyn is survived by his wife, Joyce (Ferris) Day of Dexter, with whom he would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 16th; a daughter, Linda and husband John Fowler of Corinna; 2 brothers, John Day, and Harry and wife Joanne Day, all of Dexter; 2 grandchildren, Kt Russell of Cincinnati, Ohio and Lucas Fowler of Carmel; 3 great grandchildren, Kelsey Fowler, Caleb Fowler and Pyper Russell; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 8th at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. William Walters officiating. Following the service there will be a gathering of friends and family in the fellowship hall at the church. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Spring Street, Dexter, ME 04930. www.CrosbyNeal.com.
