Obituary	MRS. ALICE JONES Mrs. Alice Jones, 86, widow of the late Edgar Jones, died at her home in Ripley Monday forenoon, after a long illness. She was born in Harmony, March 26, 1868, the daughter of Gilbert and Maria Peaks Laughton. She was a charter member of Ripley Grange. Mrs. Jones leaves one son, Charles, at home; one step-daughter, Mrs. Harry Seavey of Dexter; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Marble of Harmony, several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were held Wednesday, with the Rev. Hartwell Daley of the Dexter Methodist officiating. The remains were placed in Mt. Pleasant receiving tomb. Burial will be at the West Ripley cemetery in the spring.
