Obituary	SHIRLEY ANN BABB DEXTER – Shirley Babb, 71, passed away peacefully September 15, 2011 surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 28, 1940 in Marshfield, MA, a daughter of Robert and Theodora (Sinnott) Norton. Shirley was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness and belonged to the Corinna congregation. She was active in her ministry her entire life and truly loved people. She enjoyed reading and writing about the Bible. Shirley dearly loved her grandchildren, enjoyed playing ball and doing crafts with them. She was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur Eldredge, and her second husband, Norman Babb. She is survived by 2 sons, Arthur and wife Aimee of Pittsfield, Michael and wife Lori of Vassalboro; 5 daughters, Molly and partner Rami of Pittsfield, Jennifer of Plymouth, Pauline of Abbot, Jeannette and husband Rick Goodell of Etna; Betty and partner Tony of Fall River, MA; 13 grandchildren; her friend Celeste Kirchdorfer of Corinna; and all her friends at the Dexter Boarding Home. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday at Riverside Cemetery, Newport. Private family visitation will be held at Crosby & Neal, Newport.
