MISS SARAH P. WINSLOW DEXTER, April 5—Miss Sarah P. Winslow, 76, native of Dexter, and for many years employee in local law offices and banks, died this morning at a local hospital where she was taken following a sudden illness Sunday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Charles .Ansell, with whom she had made her home winters. Mrs. Winslow was born June 29 1871, daughter of Samuel A., and Sarah (Lane) Winslow, and has lived summers In her native home on Ripley road. She attended Dexter schools, was graduated from a Portland business school, and was employed at various times in Crosby’s law office and in Dexter banks. She was a member of the First Universalist church, the Sunshine club, and the U. F. club. Survivors are five nieces, Mrs. Grace Ansell of Dexter, Mrs. Ames of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Gladys Hussey of Mars Hill, Mrs. Katharine Goff of Westbrook, and Mrs. Ann Louise Stanford of Melrose, Mass.; and a nephew, John C. Winslow of Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the First Universalist church Rev. Theodore A. Webb officiating with burial In Mount Pleasant cemetery, Dexter. Friends may call at the home on Spring street.
