Obituary
The home of Mr. and Mrs. flaroM I Wing have been saddened by the death of their little daughter, Mary. She passed away Thursday, Jan. 3Oth after a short illness of influenza, followed by pneumonia. The years of this bright, lovable little life were few. She was born Jan. 27, 1912. Her seventh and last birthday, which she had anxiously looked forward to seeing, came while she was lying so ill: Little Mary will be greatly missed by those who knew her, especially by her teacher and little classmates. Her sweet smile and animated little presence were an inspiration to all. Although but in the second grade she was very precocious and showed wonderful ability for one so young. “God has taken one of earth’s choicest flowers and transplanted it in his garden above.” She leaves, beside her parents referred to, a little brother and baby sister. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. T. B. Hatt officiating. The family have the deepest sympathy of the whole community in their great bereavement. The following poem seems very applicable to the little one who has gone.
