Obituary	John F. Briggs The death of John F. Briggs of this town occurred Tuesday at the home of his son, Maurice Briggs, in Ripley, where he has made his home for the past two years. Mr. Briggs was born 76 years ago in Dover-Foxcroft, but for the past 35 years has lived in Dexter, where he has been a successful farmer. He was a member of the Free Baptist church. Besides his son he is survived by a nephew, Leslie Ames, of Dover-Foxcroft and a niece, Mrs. Angie Bartlett of East Weymouth, Mass. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of Maurice Briggs.
